Round Robin Tennis
All Round Robin Players must sign up by 8:00 pm the evening before play. The round robin will consist of three rounds each day with different partners and opponents each round which will be organized by a VBTC staff member. Please note that some players might have to sit out one round if we have an odd number of players. Each round will consist of 25 minute periods.
USTA Team Tennis
Team Tennis is a new and fun way for Vero Beach Tennis Club members to meet new members, old members, and everyone in between. Anyone who is interested in this
needs to see our staff about becoming a member of one of our outstanding and
fun teams. You will be playing in the Florida region 6 league against
local clubs within a 30 mile radius. The team will travel to other
facilities on away matches and host other teams at our facility when
home. The home team host the event with food, snacks, and drinks for
all players.
The Team Tennis
season is usually 6 - 8 weeks long,
after which new teams will be formed and we start all over again. Teams
are available in both men's and women's at the level of 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0
and most all play is doubles.
We know what it’s like. You’ve got a big-time passion
for tennis, but you’ve got little time for yourself. Every week, you’re
pulled in so many different directions that you sometimes need a GPS system
just to find your way back home. Sure, you’d love to make tennis a regular
part of your life, but let’s face it, there’s nothing regular about your
life. Maybe you’ve thought about playing league tennis many times, but
since you can’t commit to a regular day and time, you obviously can’t
play in a league.
USTA Flex Leagues are designed with your busy schedule in
mind. You make the schedule. You set the time. You play when it’s
convenient for you. Flex Leagues provide all the thrills of league tennis,
built around your busy lifestyle. With Flex Leagues, you can control
everything—with the possible exception of your opponent’s
down-the-line forehand.
